National Zoo Abidjan | Places worth visiting in Cote d'Ivoire

National Zoo Abidjan | Places worth visiting in Cote d'Ivoire

I recommend the National Zoo whenever you are in Abidjan.

From the hotel, I took a cab and went straight to the zoo on a weekend. Locating the zoo was quite easy and the entrance fee wasn't a lot (less than 500CFA).

I found it weird that a Zoo which requires funds for maintenance was charging so little for entrance fees

I saw so many animals, a lot of which were funny. Their facial expressions and display when they see a crowd is phenomenal. Some of the animals are free-range like the elephant, zebras etc while others like the lions and Hippopotamus are in an enclosure.

I got to see an elephant, crocodiles, snakes, some big cats, civettes, turtles, snakes and a pumba.

Not much to say on this post. lol. Hopefully, my pictures can take you on a tour of the Zoo.

Final thoughts

Clearly, I enjoyed my time at the zoo. You can get quite close to the animals and it is safe.

Regards,

Margaret.
