Hi there!

Here, I document my adventures in travel and life experiences generally. Hope you get inspired!

Thought Pyramid | Art Galleries in Nigeria

Thought Pyramid | Art Galleries in Nigeria

I trust that we have all read the first two articles on thought pyramid Abuja here and here , else please do. In one of the articles I had mentioned that a branch was newly opened in Lagos. Well, I found it ...whoop!. and here we are now.

There will be no long story here, neither do I intend to be poetic. Worthy to note though is that it is in Ikoyi and a stone throw from MyDrim gallery. Hence, you may want to kill two birds with one stone.

.....How is the Lagos branch different from that of Abuja?? Let's say it's more spacious and has a relaxation area upstairs. No restaurant though like that of Abuja.

.....What was my favourite art piece? I found an exceptional piece of art at the gallery which as I was told, was brought in that same morning I visited. Sadly, the workers had no information (artist or price) about the piece.

Without further ado, my pictures will take you on a tour of the art gallery. You will see works from Tolu Aliki, Fidelis Odogwu, Ebong Ekwere, Yomi Momoh, Amos Okosun Odion et al.

You see that fine piece of art I'm staring at? I truly wanted to take her home. Undeniably unique, Sadly there was no information about it when I visited

Final words

A visit to this gallery will definitely be worth your time. In addition to the art works, there are African designed hand bags for sale as well.

Thank you for reading and hope I have inspired you to visit the art gallery. I would love to read from you.

What and where is your favourite art gallery? What are your views generally about the art galleries in Nigeria? Got suggestions? Email them to theajalabug@gmail.com or post in the comments. Thanks

Margaret.
