Nike Art Gallery | Art Galleries in Lagos

I was overwhelmed by Nike Art Gallery. It is pretty huge, with art pieces than the space available, as I noticed art works were piled on each other. Madam Nike Okundaye owns and manages the enormous gallery.

The gallery is a true reflection of the African tradition and showcases diverse art works from all part of the continent, largely Nigeria. Did I mention that you are warmly welcomed at the entrance of the gallery with giant sculptures made from tyres?! Yup! You heard right, tyres (see my display picture). Every single thing in the gallery speaks art. There are paintings for as low as N50,000 to the high-end ones of N1M - N10M or maybe even more.

Anyone and everyone can visit the gallery, and guess what?! Entry is free and cameras are allowed. Please visit their website for more information.
