I have always loved the idea of relaxing on a beach (more like the idea of Nature) and when I discovered Inagbe in Lagos, I couldn't wait to rejuvenate my body and mind as opposed to travelling to explore.
Inagbe is a serene and beautiful lush island resort set on the tranquil banks of the magnificent Lagos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. As I learnt, the resort was developed by Gran Imperio Resorts Ltd.
Inagbe was an attraction for me because of the variety of activities the resort offered. You actually have free access to the games except to the quad bikes and horse rides which are N2,000 each (as at the time I visited). There is also a nice mini children's park/area.
Lest I forget, to experience the intriguing views of the resort, you require a 20mins boat ride from Oyinkan Abayomi (former Queen's drive) road, Ikoyi or from Fiki Marine, Victoria Island. I called the resort and they hooked me up to the captain of a boat. To save yourself the cost of hiring a full boat, you can pair with others to reduce your cost.
I got a fantastic deal and stayed a night at the resort. The food was reasonably priced in my opinion. The reception was warm and customer service was very good. I was given a tour guide to help me settle down and take me round the facility.
My pictures below are waiting to encourage you make a decision to escape the hustle and bustle of life.
It was the perfect home away from home for me. The only issue I had was that the WiFi wasn't strong in the room, though it was perfect at the reception.
On a different note, It was just sad to know that the resort operates on 24 hours generator. How can a business like that survive? In my time, Nigeria will improve.
