Art is the ultimate form of expression of man’s innermost thoughts
Mydrim was so welcoming. From the entrance, you are ushered into the gallery by wall sculptures that subtly guide you to the inner building. I sensed extreme passion as I found my way into the gallery.
I saw a handful of abstract arts as well as relatable pieces. Obviously, they are focused on real and abstract situations. It's definitely an art lover’s delight.
The gallery which is tucked away in Ikoyi on 74B Norman Williams Street Ikoyi, was established in 1992.
My pictures below will do me the honour.
Displays portraits, abstracts and stylised mixed media paintings.
I absolutely love the space. Anyways, they also do framing of art and photographs.
The gallery hosts exhibitions frequently
The art works are for sale. You can also purchase oil paintings, water colours, pastel, ceramics, etchings and sculptures.
The gallery has a space upstairs to cater for exhibitions etc. The environment is quiet and the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful.
The gallery projects the expression of talent in art by:
Developing an awareness of the visual arts in the society.
Stimulating and educating the public about the nature and essence of art in human life.
Providing a conducive environment for the sale of artworks.
Pro moting talented artists by ensuring effective exposure.
