Here, I document my adventures in travel and life experiences generally. Hope you get inspired!

Review of Villa Angelia hotel

Review of Villa Angelia hotel

Villa Angelia is a decent 3-star hotel. I found the environment to be quiet, intimate and private, hence suitable for corporate bodies and young professionals. Recommended if you are on a tight budget and have meetings on the Island.

Myself and Oto had the opportunity to experience Villa Angelia. Coincidentally, my company uses the service of the hotel quite frequently and in the past I would personally hunt for discounts on dealdey for Friday dinners which was typically at almost 30% off.

On this occasion, we were invited to have a feel of the hospitality at Villa Angelia and I guess my quote above summarises the experience.

Prices of the rooms:

  1. Two Bedroom Maisonette (for a family): N102,000

  2. Deluxe suite (Ideal for a couple): N68,000

  3. Standard rooms: N25,000

Prices of food:

  1. Friday dinner (Buffet): N4,500

  2. Other days is based on the menu which appears affordable

See below my picture gallery which will take you on a tour of the hotel.

Final thoughts

It was quite a brief but pleasant stay. Generally, an okay hotel depending on your preference. It is located in a safe environment with basic but adequate facilities.

Pros

  1. A boutique hotel and this is reflected in the pricing

  2. It has a restaurant in the premises and the food was good

  3. Centrally located in the heart of Lagos

  4. Sizeable rooms with Wifi

  5. Serene and calm environment

  6. Room is basic but neat

  7. There is a bar outside in the premises of the hotel. We didn't try that out

  8. Offer airport shuttle

Cons

  1. The gym is relatively small

  2. The pool appeared not well maintained, hence I couldn't take a dip

  3. The electronic keys/doors need to be serviced as we struggled a few times to enter the suite.

Thanks for reading always and we would love to read from you. Have you dined in or stayed over at Villa Angelia? Please do tell us about your experience.
