My name is Margaret, Founder of The Ajala Bug (TAB). I’m an Infrastructure Investment Professional all day and an avid adventurer every other day :).
The Ajala Bug started as a travel lifestyle content & visual storytelling platform revolutionizing travel in Africa, with a little more emphasis on Nigeria. This appears to be evolving into a platform where I share my career journey in Infrastructure development, showcase Africa and share my opinions on topics I am passionate about.
Like I mentioned, the blog which was founded out of the passion for exploring, shares personal (either mine or members of the travel community) discoveries and experiences geared at;
1. contributing to changing the narrative about the African continent by showcasing the beauty that lies within, be it the landscapes, history, beaches, people, cuisines etc.
2. inspiring others to seek their personal experiences by sharing insights and tips about destinations.
3. creating an outlet with all relevant travel related information for Nigerians (including those in diaspora).
After travelling some continents, I can confidently tell you that there’s really nowhere quite like Africa. From its vibrant cosmopolitan cities to unrivaled natural beauty and it’s upbeat people, there’s no better place to be. The continent is young, it’s fast growing, and it’s urbanizing.
"The only man I envy is the man who has not yet been to Africa , for he has so much to look forward to". Richard Mullin
The blog is an Africa compass for where to stay and places worth visiting on the continent. Stay glued and let's discover the untapped continent, Africa, together.
